Freeman has an agreement with the Local IATSE Union to provide labor for display erection and dismantling. Full time employees of exhibiting companies, or their representatives, may set up their own displays without assistance from the Local. However, should assistance be necessary beyond that provided by those employees, then labor must be provided by the Union. Labor can be ordered in advance by using the Installation & Dismantle Labor Order Form.
Be sure to book your hotel through Preferred Convention Services (PCS) to take advantage of the complimentary shuttles to and from the convention center each day!
The only official housing company for POWER-GEN International is Preferred Convention Services. All other companies do not have any affiliation with POWER-GEN International. We highly caution you from engaging unauthorized companies because if/when issues arise, POWER-GEN International management does not have the ability to provide assistance in solving them.
The U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), in conjunction with its global network of embassies and consulates, are recruiting pre-screened buyers from over thirty top international markets and facilitating introductions and meetings. In cooperation with PennWell International - working with USDOC’s International Buyer Program, we will be offering two complimentary programs – Delegation Leader Export Counseling Meetings & Business-to-Business (B2B) Matchmaking Meetings - to help U.S. exhibitors increase their international sales. Through participation in these programs, U.S. exhibitors can gain foreign market intelligence, more effectively target potential buyers and make in-market contacts with USDOC and U.S. Embassy representatives to support critical post-show follow-up. Our Embassy industry experts from countries in South America, Africa, Middle East & Asia are ready to discuss your market potential, entry strategies andcmake introductions to their country delegates.
