Real Time Online Registration Instructions

All individuals registering for POWER-GEN International online will be required to establish a PennWell Registration Account.  Please follow the steps on the first page of the registration form; the process will only take a couple of minutes.

The Online Registration Form link is found on the Left Hand Navigational Bar of the Registration page of the POWER-GEN International web site or can be found by clicking here. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED, PLEASE REGISTER ON SITE!

Prior Attendees:    If you attended ‘POWER-GEN or another PennWell event in the past 4 years, your personal information has been saved in the system. To begin the registration process, log in with your email address or PennWell Badge Id number and your password.  If you don’t remember your password, click the Retrieve Password link and it will be emailed to the address associated with your last registration.  Once you have logged in, you can update your contact information and then continue the rest of the registration process.   

New Attendees:    Once you navigate to the Online Registration Site, each new registering attendee will need to create a PennWell Registration Account.  To begin the process, we need to verify your email address is not already in the system.  Please enter your email address and create a password (minimum 6 characters) on the login screen of the Online Registration Site.  If your email is not found in the system, you will be directed to the Contact Information page to complete your personal information and then the rest of the registration process.

•    Payment is due upon registration submission.  No exception.  If you need to pay by check or wire transfer, please print a hard copy of the registration form and follow the directions for submission.

•    Your Unique Email and Password will be used when registering for all future PennWell events.
•    Anyone who qualifies for complimentary registration (Conference Speakers, Committee Members, etc) will not be able to use the Online Registration Form.

Ancillary Events
Please note that all ancillary events, including but not limited to the Competitive Power College Workshops, Technical Tours, Project-of-the-Year Banquet, Golf Tournament, Networking Reception and Networking Breakfasts, are not included with the above registration types. Pre-Registration Benefits

Show management encourages all attendees to take advantage of the added benefits of registering early by utilizing either the registration form PDF or the online form at www.power-gen.com. All registrations received and paid by November 16, 2009 will receive their badge packet in the mail.  If you register after the cut-off or do not receive you packet in the mail, please proceed to On-Site Registration or Fast Track. To utilize Fast Track, bring a copy of your registration confirmation.

Attendee Badge Policy
Please wear your badge at all times when attending official PGI 09 functions. Badges are a security measure to identify people who have a legitimate reason to be in the conference and exhibit areas. If you are not wearing your badge, you may be asked to show proof of your registration and picture ID.

Fast Track
Avoid the lines. If you are pre-registered and DO NOT receive your badge in the mail, print your registration confirmation and bring it to fast track. Scan the bar code or enter your PennWell ID #, which is listed on the confirmation to receive your badge.


Early Bird Cut-off Date is: September 30, 2009

Cancellation Policy:
Payment must be received by published date to receive early registration discounts. Cancellations must be received in writing by October 29, 2009 for a refund, minus a $100 administrative charge. After October 29, 2009, refunds are not available. Substitutions may be made at any time, by contacting the registration department IN WRITING.

Attention International Attendees: The U.S. State Department rules regarding visas have tightened up.  Not every foreign visitor is required to obtain a visa to enter the U.S., however, it is important to note that visitors from some countries that did not need a visa prior to September 11, 2001 may need one now.  Please check with the U.S. Embassy in your area to confirm whether or not you are required to obtain a visa. 

If the U.S. State Department requires you to apply for a visa, please visit the U.S. Embassy in your country to begin the application process at least 60 days prior to the beginning of POWER-GEN.  Before visiting the U.S. Embassy, you will need a letter of invitation to attend POWER-GEN International 2009. To receive this letter, you must first register and pay the registration fee for POWER-GEN International 2009. Once you have registered and paid the required fee, then please forward your name, title, company, mailing address, and email address to Jan Simpson, Conference Manager, POWER-GEN International 2009, 1421 S. Sheridan, Tulsa, OK 74112 USA.  Due to the large volume of requests for letters of invitation, please be sure the information you provide to be included on the letter is accurate at the time of your request.
