The Papers of the Year Awards recognize the top paper for POWER‑GEN International, COALGEN, NUCLEAR POWER International and Renewable Energy World Conference & Expo North America.

The Projects of the Year Awards acknowledge the top power projects around the world. Winning projects are picked from four categories: Best Natural Gas, Best Renewable Energy, Best Coal and Best Nuclear. A panel of PennWell editors judge the projects based on a set criteria, including what innovative methods were used to build the project, any setbacks or hurdles overcome to completes, the project’s impact on the community where it is sited and how the project stands out from others like it.

The Woman of the Year award is given each year to a woman who has, through hard work, vision, and determination, moved the industry forward. Women are nominated by peers in the power generation industry and selected by a committee of women in the industry.

Peabody Energy will be recognizing the global winners of the Advanced Energy for Life Clean Coal Awards.  The awards honor global leadership in deploying high-efficiency clean coal technologies that deliver ultra-low emissions.  The AEFL awards were created in 2014 to recognize the cleanest U.S. coal plants and were expanded this year to honor the cleanest coal plants in the world.  In 2015, Peabody is presenting awards based on environmental performance to coal-fueled power plants globally and in key regions including India, East Asia (excluding China) and Europe.

The Awards Gala is open to the award winners, their guests and all POWER-GEN International, NUCLEAR POWER International, COAL-GEN and Renewable Energy World Conference & Expo North America attendees. Be a part of this special evening recognizing the best of the best in innovation and technology.
