#ThinkDigitalPower is more than a hashtag for Tata Consultancy Services. It's the modus operandi.
To take it one step further at POWER-GEN International this week in Orlando, the Mumbai-based information technology giant is launching its new digital power plant solution at the massive power generation conference and exhibition. The unveiling of TCS iPower will be 3:30 ET Tuesday during a special meeting at Room W103A on Level 1 of the Orange County Convention Center’s West Hall.
Tata says that TCS iPower will combine engineering knowledge with artificial intelligence (AI) to provide a comprehensive solution for optimizing operations and maintenance in fossil fuel-fired thermal power plants. TCS iPower is built on the foundation of the digital twin concept and is powered by data-driven models.
And yet the 3:30 p.m. Tuesday meeting at Room W103 is more than a product launch. Harry Forbes, research director at ARC Advisory Services, will discussed trends and opportunities within the sector while also offering his industry insights.
The TCS leadership team also will be on-hand to talk about the iPower solution and share experiences on the project.
TCS is exhibiting at Booth 2786 on the POWER-GEN floor. The company has a global reach with operations in close to 50 countries.
AI, blockchain, digital twinning and other emerging technologies are all part of content in the Knowledge Hubs at POWER-GEN.
